The Standard KII has a finger activated switch that requires 1.5lbs (24oz) of pressure to turn it on and keep it on. You can go with the KII Delux which is modified to include a toggle on/off switch, or consider this new KII "Soft Touch" model that requires less than 8oz of finger pressure to turn it on. Each unit is modified by Pro-measure and tested to be within the 8oz +/-0.5oz.

Note to User
Due to the design of the K-II Meter to detect EMF and other signals across a very broad band of sensitivity it is urged to turn off cell phones, RF transmitter/receiver and IR transmitters to prevent false readings. This will help to better determine any evidence of paranormal presence.
